Welcome Yurts Cottages The Log Cabin Overnight Seasonal Sites Photos

Welcome to Covered Bridge Park

This is a magnificent 150 acres waterfront campground on Bonnechere River with cottages, cabins, yurt camping, tent and trailer sites. East of Algonquin Provincial Park between Round Lake and Golden Lake. Great fishing, swimming, canoeing and wildlife viewing. Our small trailer park offers lots of privacy with only 47 full hookup sites. We have few seasonal sites available for 2015 at $1235 a year.

Discover Natures Playground on this old farm that has been preserved in its natural state with 100 acres of mature forest, meadows and trails. As per World Health Organisation (WHO) visiting natural environments to experience tranquillity and solitude is an important stress-reliever. Being in a tranquil place allows people to relax, to escape from the stress of everyday life and to "recharge their batteries". There are plenty of opportunities to "recharge your batteries" here since only small portion of the property has been developed into a Campground. Most of what we offer here is pure Mother Nature.

Enjoy Bird watching, berry picking and wildlife viewing. Come visit in the late fall or spring and watch whitefish or pickerel run up the river to spawn at our Dam. Bonnechere River below the Dam is fish sanctuary during those times.

Covered Bridge Park is located in Tramore on the north side of Bonnechere River between Round Lake and Golden Lake. Over 1 km of Bonnechere River frontage offers excellent fishing (pike, pickerel, bass & perch) and serves as a gateway with easy boat and canoe access to Round Lake and Golden Lake.

First Polish Settlement in Canada known as "Kaszuby" is just around the corner. Please check our History section for more information.

The park also known as "Tramore’s Covered Bridge Park" is under new management and has recently been purchased by Andrew and Dzidka Sadecki (Mowimy po Polsku)

The campground is currently open early May to Canadian Thanksgiving weekend.  We are in the process of making parts of the park accessible all year. Please inquire for more information.
